THE FAIRY TALE CASTLES OF FUSSEN

Everyone loves fairytale and the town of Fussen in the Bavaria region of Germany will make you travel back in time and experience the life of living in the castles.

Fussen is famous for its fairytale castles and in fact, one of the castles was the inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castle is famous in the town as it is where King Ludwig II spent his childhood. Both castles are situated close to each other at Schwangau and both attract many visitors.

Nestled at the foot of the Alps, the Bavarian countryside couldn't get any prettier and with its lush forests, lakes, and mountains, there are lots of outdoor activities to be done other than castle hopping.
